1 What is OGERA?
OGERA is a comprehensive digital platform that provides news, opportunities (jobs, scholarships, grants, tenders), a marketplace for buying and selling goods, announcements, quizzes, and videos - all in one place and available in Kinyarwanda and English.
2 Is OGERA free to use?
Yes! Browsing news, opportunities, announcements, and watching videos is completely free. Listing products in the marketplace is also free for basic listings.
3 Do I need an account?
You can browse all content without an account. However, you need to register to post comments, submit news, list products, post announcements, and share opportunities.
4 How do I create an account?
Click on Register in the top navigation bar, fill in your name, email, and password, and you're done.
5 How is news curated on OGERA?
Our editorial team selects and verifies news from trusted sources across Rwanda. User submissions are reviewed before publication.
6 How do I apply for an opportunity?
Each opportunity listing includes an Apply Here button or Visit Website link that directs you to the official application page. OGERA does not process applications directly.
7 How do I contact the organization posting an opportunity?
Use the contact information listed on the opportunity page, or reach out through the website link provided by the organization.
8 How do I sell a product on the marketplace?
Create an account, go to the marketplace, and click the button to list a product. Add photos, a price, and a description - your listing will be reviewed and published.
9 Can I participate in quizzes?
Yes, registered users can participate in quizzes and have a chance to win real prizes.
10 How do I report a problem?
Use the contact page and select Report a Problem as the inquiry type. Our team will look into it promptly.
